Basilique du Sacré-Cœur
Getting up at a time that I would usually not consider at all today allowed me to travel to Sacre-Cœur just before sunrise. Taking the first cable car available (at 7:00) to the top of Montmartre when it was still dark at night was quite an experience.
Using my new tripod I was able to capture the shots leading to this HDRI picture (my first serious application of the technique).
Shot with the Tamron 17-50/2.8 @ f9 (I do now understand why people appreciate the Canon 17mm TSE lense and full-frame sensors for architecture)
